Freddie Daniel Meade, b. 1987,
Based in Newark, Ohio, USA
Freddie Meade was born in Newark, Ohio on February 8th, 1987. As a young child, he was always influenced by film, but his biggest influence was watching the filming of Andrew Copp's The Mutilation Man in Dayton, Ohio at age eleven. After speaking with the director, Mr. Meade realized that his future lay in the film industry. During the next twenty years, he worked very hard at mastering his craft and eventually penned the screenplay A Fetish of Flesh, which would go on to be awarded the Arcana Films Scream-Play of the decade award. The film is currently in the pre-production stages, but the project has garnered a lot of interest from bigger studios.

At just 32 years of age, Mr. Meade has written over ten feature-length screenplays, not an easy feat for a man who began writing in 2009. Of those, seven have earned him awards in various categories. When he started Legacy Entertainment, with his business partner Timothy "T.J." MacDonald, he had only one goal in mind: "To producer micro-budget films to compete with the big-wig studios and their over-budgeted flops."
And with the completion of some truly amazing screenplays, he may be on the verge of not only accomplishing that feat, but also setting a new standard in the world of independent film that may carry over to the world of Hollywood.
